When my wife and I moved up to the Pocono's of PA, I could not find a job that would pay any descent wage. This area is a pretty expensive area to live in. $8.00-$9.00 an hour does not go far when rent is $600.00-$700.00 a month.
The Lord opened the door for my wife and me to live in the basement of the house of some friends from our church. Gary and Cindy Knepp were tools the Lord used to help my wife and me in our transition. We love them dearly and thank them for their help during this time in our lives.
Gary had begun a small lawn business for his son. He had about 25 lawns and needed someone to help drive Mike around. This was the beginning of Proffit's Lawn Care. The Lord has continually blessed the business and we currently service approximately 70-80 lawns. I praise the Lord for his goodness to us.
